Regional lineaments are exploration guides, not measured project shear zones.
Singida–Iramba–Sekenke District
Central Tanzania contains mixed granitoid, gneiss, metavolcanic, metasedimentary and iron-rich units. Recent Iramba–Sekenke work supports a structurally controlled exploration model involving NW–SE, NE–SW and N–S lineaments, while the Misaki study reports local soil Au associations with As and Bi. Those regional findings guide questions; they do not replace project-scale structural measurements or assays.
Updated: 2026-08-13
Au–As–Bi at Misaki is a local soil association, not a universal district threshold.
Iron staining, BIF weathering and barren shearing remain active alternatives.

Report overview
Geological setting
Regional literature describes granitoids and quartzo-feldspathic gneiss together with stratified metavolcanic and metasedimentary rocks. Older components include felsic volcanic or volcaniclastic rocks, chert–oxide and iron formations associated with mafic volcanic units.
At prospect scale, colour is not a mineral identification. Grey-green rock may contain chlorite, and pale bands may contain quartz, carbonate or felsic material, but field tests, petrography and XRD are required.

Tanzania Mining Cadastre Portal — Primary Mining Licence registry
- Used for
- Current public registry snapshot for licence code, status, registered parties, grant date, expiry date and area.
- Limit
- The portal is a live source and may change. This snapshot is not a title opinion and does not establish beneficial ownership, transfer completion, encumbrances or good standing.
Subsurface linear structures and potential zones of mineralisation of the Iramba-Sekenke greenstone belt
- Used for
- Regional geophysical structures and structurally controlled mineralisation model.
- Limit
- Regional lineaments do not prove a project-scale shear or orebody.
Reconnaissance Exploration for Gold in the Misaki Area within the Iramba-Sekenke Greenstone Belt
- Used for
- Local Misaki geology, lineaments and soil Au–As–Bi association.
- Limit
- Misaki soil results are not district-wide thresholds or project assays.
The search for plausible economic mineral deposits in the central parts of Tanzania
- Used for
- Regional lithological and stream-sediment geochemical context.
- Limit
- Regional-scale evidence; not a property mineralisation conclusion.
GLEAN GOLD bilingual regional synthesis — source-linked, non-independent and not a mineral resource or reserve statement.
Regional reference only. This report does not establish mineralisation, resources, reserves, title status or investment value for any licence. Project conclusions require verified field observations, structural measurements, representative assays and QA/QC.
